Katayoun Yaraghi, DDS, MPH
I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful profession. Dentistry can change people’s lives, and I love interacting with so many unique people in my office each day. My profession is great because I can make people feel more confident about their smile and give them the tools and knowledge to maintain their oral health. My goal is to make my patients smile in whatever way I can, at each and every appointment.
In order to become a dentist, I attained my DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and my Master of Public Health Degree from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. I then completed my General Practice Residency at Long Island College Hospital. I believe in helping the next generation of dentists serve people with compassion and quality care, which is why I am currently a Facilitator for the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine's dental ethics program.
Outside the office I enjoy time spent with my husband, Saleem Josephs, and our young son, Cyrus. My family is incredibly important to me, and I love watching my son discover the world, one day at a time!
