Administrative Staff:

Carol – Practice Administrator/RDH

I have been very fortunate to be involved in the field of dentistry for over thirty years. My career path evolved from being a registered dental assistant and then furthering my education at Fairleigh S. Dickinson, Jr. - College of Dental Medicine as a registered dental hygienist. Happily I was hired eleven years ago by Drs. Miner and Perruzzi and I was honored to be promoted to Practice Administrator two years ago. Our practice is by far the most professional, high quality and compassionate office I have ever worked in. The extensive knowledge and training our doctors possess is extended to our patients on a daily basis. Our doctors and staff are highly motivated and feel each patient’s treatment is of the utmost importance. You will find our staff very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I am extremely grateful to work together with such a terrific team! Our goal is for all our patients to be completely satisfied with their treatment producing beautiful healthy smiles.

At home, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ed, my two children, Mike and Kim and of course our three dogs, Snickers, Gunner & Murphy. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, shopping with my daughter and spending time with friends going out to dinner or relaxing by the pool. I would be remiss not to mention that we are huge Giants and Yankee Fans!

Karen – Front Desk Administrator

As Front Desk Administrator, it is my pleasure to work closely with all our patients. I greet our wonderful patients and help create an environment where our patients feel comfortable from the beginning of treatment to the end. I help in coordinating their treatment plans as well as financial arrangements. I love to come to work every day because all of our doctors and staff truly care about our patients and each other. This is felt by our patients from the time they walk in until the time they leave our office. It’s always amazing to see that our patients leave with smiles on their faces!

In my spare time, my husband, Steve, and I enjoy being on the soccer and softball/baseball fields, the basketball court or the hockey rink watching our three children Mitch, Mallory, and Madison play sports.

Lucille – Insurance & Marketing Coordinator

I am privileged to have been Dr. Miner’s first employee in 1969 and the longest standing staff member at West Ridgewood Dental Professionals. I have been witness to extraordinary dentistry performed by dentists with integrity who are passionate about their profession.

The patients that our practice attracts are bright and discriminating and I have loved meeting them all and watching their families grow.

My husband Larry and sons, Steven and David, are the loves of my life and my passion is cooking and entertaining.

Cindy – Scheduling & Treatment Coordinator

I have been in the dental filed for over 8 years. I am the newest employee to the practice as a front office treatment coordinator. I am very passionate about my profession, and the opportunities I have every day to answer patient’s questions, and concerns regarding their dental health. My favorite thing about dentistry is the ability to provide quality care to improve and maintain dental health for all our patients in the tradition of West Ridgewood Dental Professionals.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two cats, while also enjoying working out, running, pilates, playing tennis, and skiing.

Dental Hygienists:

Christina - Registered Dental Hygienist

I started my career here as a dental assistant in 1997. The support and encouragement I received from the Doctors and staff allowed me to earn my certification and registration as a dental assistant. I continued on to dental hygiene school and was allowed to continue working here as a dental assistant and front desk receptionist throughout my schooling. Now I have been a practicing dental hygienist here for 10 years. I recently earned my certificate for local administration and also hold a certificate for nitrous oxide monitoring. As I grew into my dental career I developed a love for public health. I spend my free time teaching children oral care and started the Free Milk Foundation, which helps breastfeeding mothers in need. My future goals include earning a Masters Degree in Public Health and would love to teach.

Cynthia – Registered Dental Hygienist

I began my career in the dental field over ten years ago as a Registered Dental Assistant. Since then I have attended Bergen Community and achieved a degree in Dental Hygiene. I love being a Dental Hygienist and enjoy seeing positive changes in patient’s oral health. I am born and raised in Bergen County where I currently reside with my fiancé, Ken. We are happily planning our 2012 wedding.

Rita – Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been practicing dental hygiene since 1992 and I still love every minute of it. Over the years I have built many lasting friendships with my patients and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to improve their health and lives. I believe in treating my patients with the utmost care and concern for their well-being, as well as making them feel comfortable and appreciated. When not working I can usually be found at my favorite yoga studio or playing with my parrots Chico and Misty. I am married to my best friend, Jimmy, and we both enjoy animals, friends, food and laughter.

Dental Assistants:

Valerie – Dental Assistant Coordinator

Initially I thought I wanted to be a nurse or in a field that involved helping people, instead I became a paralegal. Luckily I was not satisfied in that profession and for over 30 years I have been working in the dental field. I continued to pursue my education in the field of dentistry and I am both a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. I love working at West Ridgewood Dental Professionals because of the ethics and quality care of the doctors and interacting with all the great patients. It’s amazing to learn something new every day. I have been here for 11 years and I plan on retiring from here!

I have two wonderful daughters and three adorable granddaughters. Recently I am newly married and together we have a new puppy, Hachiko. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, dancing and sewing.

Joanne – Dental Assistant

I began my dental assisting career in 9th grade….assisting for my family dentist! I’ve always been interested and intrigued with the field, so after graduating high school, I entered Lyon’s Institute for Dental Assisting over 30 years ago.

I’m proud to say I’ve been at West Ridgewood Dental for over 14 years and work with a group of unbelievably talented doctors and team members that I consider “family”. I enjoy working here because of the various duties we perform (it’s never boring here!) and I love the patient interaction. We have fun and I know the patients are getting the best dental care available. . .

I’m a single mom to an awesome 15 years son and I live in Montvale. I volunteer at Hackensack Hospital, raising money for cancer research. My hobbies are make-up artistry, reading and camping.

Tracy – CDA/RDA

I am a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant with over 20 year’s experience and I co-wrote a dental assisting handbook – “The Exceptional Dental Assistant” with Christina Vozzo. During my 14 years working at West Ridgewood Dental, there are so many things I have grown to love about my job such as the social interaction with the patients and my co-workers and the fun and excitement in experiencing the latest in dental technology. I’m very proud to work in such a high quality practice. My hobbies are reading, hiking, camping and bargain hunting. I very happy to say, I’m married to my best friend, Chris and we have two children: Audrey, 11, and Michael, 8. We live in Sussex county with our dog, Bella.

Linda – CDA/RDA

I believe the best part about being a dental assistant is getting to meet the patients and form friendships with them over the years. The staff members at West Ridgewood Dental Professionals are some of the most professional and caring individuals around and makes any dental experience an easy one.

I am originally from the Philippines where I earned a Doctorate in Medical Dentistry from the University of the East in Manila. I have been a Registered Dental Assistant for over 30 years and have been with West Ridgewood Dental Professionals for over 7 years. Currently, I live in Bergenfield where I have been married to my loving husband for over 30 years. Together we have two amazing children. I enjoy gardening and cooking in my spare time but most of all I enjoy playing with our pet dog, Smorz!
